Pawport Affiliate Program Terms

Program Overview

The Pawport Affiliate Program is designed for creators, publishers, and partners who produce original content that introduces Pawport to new audiences through trusted recommendations.

All affiliates must apply through Refersion and be approved before participating. Pawport reserves the right to approve or reject any application at its sole discretion.

This program is separate from Pawport’s installer, wholesale, and other partnership programs.

Creator Partnership Agreements

Certain affiliates may also participate in separate creator, influencer, ambassador, UGC, product exchange, sponsored content, or other partnership programs with Pawport pursuant to a separate written agreement ("Creator Agreement").

To the extent an affiliate is subject to a Creator Agreement, the terms of the Creator Agreement shall govern and control with respect to the subject matter covered by that agreement.

In the event of any conflict between a Creator Agreement and these Affiliate Program Terms, the Creator Agreement shall control during the term of the Creator Agreement.

Upon completion, expiration, or termination of the Creator Agreement, the affiliate's continued participation in the Pawport Affiliate Program shall be governed solely by these Affiliate Program Terms, as amended from time to time.

Commission Structure

Affiliates earn commissions on qualifying purchases generated through their approved referral links in accordance with the commission structure communicated by Pawport and displayed within the affiliate platform.

•Cookie duration: 90 days

•Attribution model: Last click

•Commissions are paid on completed, non-refunded orders

•Returned, canceled, or fraudulent orders are not eligible for commission

Current commission rates and applicable incentives will be communicated through the affiliate platform or directly by Pawport.

In addition to standard commissions, affiliates may be eligible for additional incentives at Pawport’s discretion, including but not limited to:

•Flat fee payments

•Performance-based bonuses

•Tiered commission increases

•Free products or product credits

•Exclusive campaigns or paid opportunities

These incentives are not guaranteed and may vary by affiliate, performance level, or campaign.

Payouts

Payouts are issued through Refersion via PayPal.

Payouts are issued through Refersion on a regular schedule (as defined in your affiliate dashboard), after any applicable return or fraud review period.

Pawport reserves the right to modify payout methods at any time. 

Approved Partner Types

This program is open to content-driven partners including:

•Social media creators and UGC creators

•Editorial and review publications

•Smart home, pet, and home improvement content platforms

•Blogs, websites, and email publishers

All partners must produce original content.

Prohibited Partner Types

The following partner types are not permitted:

•Coupon or discount code websites

•Cashback or loyalty platforms

•Deal aggregation sites

•PPC arbitrage websites

•Resellers or dropshippers

Promotional Guidelines

Affiliates may promote Pawport using:

•Social media content (organic only)

•Editorial articles and reviews

•Educational or commentary-style content

•Email newsletters and owned platforms

Affiliates may not:

•Run paid advertising (Google, Meta, TikTok, etc.) using affiliate links or direct traffic to Pawport

•Bid on Pawport trademarks or branded keywords (including variations or misspellings)

•Post affiliate links on coupon, deal, or cashback websites

•Post affiliate links in Pawport’s social media comments, ads, or communities

•Make any false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims about Pawport or its products

Affiliates may not make claims related to security, safety, or product performance that are not explicitly supported by Pawport. This includes exaggerated or unverified claims about preventing intrusions, eliminating pests, or guaranteeing outcomes.

All promotions must reflect accurate product information and maintain a professional, brand-safe presentation.

Content Usage Rights

By participating in the Pawport Affiliate Program, affiliates grant Pawport a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display any content created in connection with the program. 

This includes the right for Pawport to:

•Repost content across owned channels (website, social media, email, etc.)

•Use content in paid advertising and promotional campaigns

•Edit or adapt content for marketing purposes

Affiliates acknowledge that Pawport may use such content without prior notice, approval, or additional permission.

Participation in the program constitutes agreement to these terms.

No additional compensation is required for such usage unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Content Removal

Pawport reserves the right to request removal or modification of any affiliate content at any time.

Affiliates must comply with such requests within a reasonable timeframe.

Failure to comply may result in removal from the program, withholding of unpaid commissions, and/or termination of the affiliate account.

Pawport may take action without prior notice in cases involving misleading, non-compliant, or brand-damaging content.

Trademark & Brand Usage

Affiliates may not:

•Bid on Pawport trademarks or branded keywords in paid search

•Register domains containing “Pawport” or similar brand terms

•Create social accounts that appear to represent Pawport

•Modify Pawport logos or branding

Affiliates may use approved brand assets when provided.

Channel Protection & Deduplication

To protect Pawport-owned channels:

•Orders influenced by coupon interception, code injection, or discount redirection technologies are not commissionable

•Orders driven by Pawport-owned channels (including email, SMS, or direct traffic) may be subject to deduplication

FTC & Compliance

Affiliates are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including FTC endorsement and disclosure guidelines.

•Affiliate relationships must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed (e.g., “I may earn a commission from this link”)

•Disclosures must be easy to notice, understandable, and placed appropriately within the content

•Affiliates must comply with the rules and policies of any platform used for promotion (including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)

•Content must not contain false, misleading, or unverified claims

Failure to comply may result in removal from the program and forfeiture of commissions.

Affiliate Responsibility

Affiliates are solely responsible for the content they create and publish. Pawport is not responsible for any claims, representations, or content created by affiliates.

Indemnification

Affiliates agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pawport from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their participation in the program, including but not limited to content created, promotional methods, or failure to comply with applicable laws or regulations.

Program Activity

To remain active, affiliates must publish content within 30 days of joining. Pawport reserves the right to deactivate inactive accounts.

Termination

Pawport may suspend or terminate any affiliate account at any time for violations of these terms or for any activity deemed harmful to the brand.

Any unpaid commissions associated with violations may be withheld.

Changes to Terms

Pawport reserves the right to modify commission rates, bonus structures, discount amounts, attribution windows, cookie durations, payout methods, payout schedules, program requirements, and any other aspect of the Affiliate Program at any time. Continued participation in the program constitutes acceptance of any changes. 

Pawport Affiliate Program Privacy Policy

Pawport (Smartec Products, LLC) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you provide as part of the affiliate program.

Information We Collect

We may collect personal information from affiliates, including:

•Name and contact information (such as email address)

•Payment details required for commission payouts (via Refersion/PayPal)

•Social media handles or website information

•Performance and referral data related to your affiliate activity

How We Use Your Information

We use this information to:

•Manage your affiliate account

•Track referrals, clicks, and commissions

•Process and issue payments

•Communicate with you about the affiliate program

•Improve program performance and reporting

Sharing of Information

We may share your information with third-party service providers that support the affiliate program, including Refersion and payment processors such as PayPal. We do not sell affiliate personal information.

Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and tracking technologies to attribute referrals, measure performance, and ensure proper commission tracking.

Your Responsibilities

Affiliates are responsible for complying with applicable privacy and data protection laws when collecting or using personal data in connection with their promotional activities.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system can guarantee complete security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued participation in the program constitutes acceptance of any changes.
